〔Lab Profile〕
Researches in the Brain and Language Laboratory aim to investigate the relationship between brain and language using the advanced brain imaging techniques (including eye-tracker, ERPs, MEG, and fMRI) in combination with behavior studies. Ongoing research includes projects on cognitive and neural underpinnings of language acquisition and reading comprehension, developmental trajectories of speech perception in infants and young children and how they relate to later reading development, the nature and underlying causes of language impairment and dyslexia with the aim of developing neural markers for early identification and intervention, semantic and contextual processing in aphasic and aging brain.
