Dr. Chiu-yu Tseng, Distinguished Research Fellow and Director of the Institute of Linguistics at Academia Sinica, has been elected as a Fellow of the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA) 2016. The citation she receives is “For contributions to prosody understanding through corpus based analysis and modeling, and service to speech and language communities.”
Established in 1988, ISCA has become the major professional association in the global field of speech science and technology development. With membership over 1500 persons, the association is dedicated to promote activities and exchanges in all fields related to speech science and technology advancements.
